David Bailey eat yer heart out

I have had an interest in photography for the last 30 years or so but I suppose things escalated in the early 80's when I was asked by a work colleague to photograph their wedding. I did, and have photographed many more since. In the beginning I used an SLR but quickly moved on to Mamiya 330 medium format camera which has only recently been replaced by a Bronica SQA bought off Ebay.

Over the years I suppose that I got tired of carting a load of SLR gear round with me when on holiday so I ditched my SLR and bag full of lens and got a small digital camera.  3 digital compacts later I got tired of the lack of control.

So, just before Christmas I decided to upgrade to Digital SLR and acquired myself a Canon 400D.  Since then I've expanded the kit by adding a 70-300 lens to accompany the standard 18-55, a Metz 54 AF 1C and a Lowepro Slingshot bag.
