Recent visits are....

Trefriw in North Wales.

We had a lovely week in North Wales.  The site was beautiful with views of surrounding mountains.

We took a trip on the Ffestiniog railway from Blaenou to Portmadog.

My favourite of the trip was the visit to Portmeirion. The pink and white building in the foreground was Prisoner 6's residence.

We also visited Conway and its marvelous Castle. Here is a picture of the now superceded suspension bridge.

Harlech also had a fantastic castle.

WE also visited Betws-y-Coed, the Anglesey coastline, Caernafon, Shell Island, Rhoscolyn Bay, Bodnant Gardens and Beaumaris which had an excellent Gaol museum.

Wooler in Scotland.

Wooler was just north of Hadrians Wall. We had a lovely week there exploring the east coast. We visited Holy Island including Lindisfarne castle.

We had a day out at Edinburgh and saw its marvelous castle.

We also visited Berwick-upon-Tweed, Coldstream, Alnwick, Seahouses, St Abbs, Bamburgh and had a lovely ride over the extremely remote Lammermuir Hills.
