My next audition was for a staring role in a new sit-com called 'Hi-De-Hi'  Success quickly followed when I got a staring roll playing a cardigan wearing holidaymaker called Arfer Chance.

The following year I played the part of a scientist searching for the Loch Ness monster in the movie, It's in here somewhere.

A year later saw my first Continental movie filmed exclusively in Paris where I played a detective who caught an International jewel smuggler who used The Times newspaper for sending coded messages about his jewel shipments, here I am cracking the code in, The Pink Pussycat.

Two years later I was back in England where I stared alongside Pretty Polly in a steamy romance called, One flew over the parrot's nest.  Class of 69 soon followed, you'll spot me in the middle.

My first nautical success followed as a liner captain in, Who is that Norfolk broad.

I was soon heading for Hollywood where my first role was playing a fashion designer in, Now that's what I call fashion.
