| Well, where do I start
!! I made my first appearance on the 17th January 1955. I
suppose I had the smell of grease paint in my
nostrils and a desire for
the bright lights from a very early age.
I was destined to try many ways over the years to achieve fame and fortune. My first attempt came as soon as I was able to walk when I auditioned for a bit part as a tap-dancer in a 1957 blockbuster, 'Sink or swim' The audition didn't go very well, I caught my toe in the plughole but I wasn't sunk, a few years later I was again auditioning, this time for a chance to play a lifeguard in the 1963 classic, 'Baywatch at Butlins'
